Copyright and uploads
What is welcome, what is not, and how to ask for something to be removed.
What may be uploaded
Upload scores you have the right to copy and practise from. That includes public-domain editions, scores you have bought or licensed, and music you have written yourself.
Do not upload commercial editions you have not paid for, or any score you do not have permission to copy. Quaverley is a practice tool for your own music. It cannot be used to distribute or share editions.
How uploads are treated
Your uploads stay private to your account. They are processed to find the bars and sections and to build your practice plan, and they are never published, shared with other users, or used for anything else.
Scores in the library
The public library contains editions that are in the public domain or openly licensed. Each piece names its source and its licence on the piece page and on the attributions page.
Reporting a score
If you hold rights in a score that appears in the library, or that you believe has been uploaded unlawfully, write to help@quaverley.com with the piece, the source and the right you hold. The material will be reviewed and removed where the claim is upheld.
Your own music
Music you write belongs to you. Uploading it to Quaverley does not change that, and it is not shared with anyone.
